SENNAAAAA

"When there is a gap, you either commit yourself as a professional racing driver, that is design to win races or you come second or come third or come fifth and I am not design to come third, fourth or fifth. I race to win. And if you no longer go for a gap that exist you´re no longer a racing driver." Ayrton Senna da Silva.

MUTUAL RESPECT by Colin Carter

Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in action at Ayrton`s greatest race of recent times. From 5th on the starting grid, Ayrton was race leader after the first lap and his mastery of the ever changing conditions gave him a well deserved victory, having lapped the entire field, with the exception of the second place finisher. The mutual respect shared by two of the greatest racing drivers of all time was in evidence at Imola on 1st May 1994, when Ayrton sent a message over his car radio "greetings to my good friend Alain Prost" who was commentating on the race for the French television service.
